Dancing Club, HKUSU

Dancing Club, HKUSU was established in 1960 and has walked through 51 years of history.

In the past, the Dancing Club was known as "The Folk Dance Society" and mainly promoted folk dancing.
Later the Folk Dance Society was renamed as Dancing Club in 1995. Other dancing styles were shortly introduced.
These dances included Oriental Dance, Social Dance, Modern Dance and Jazz.

In these few years, different new styles of dances such as Hip-Hop, Break Dance, House and Locking can be seen within the Dancing Club.
With the increase of popularity in dancing, we hope to enhance the dancing culture in the University of Hong Kong,
as well as to the general society of Hong Kong.
